Financial Assistance Programs

We believe every child who wants to skate should be able to. Two programs are available to help eligible families with the cost of registration.

Register first, then apply

Our preferred process is straightforward. Here's how it works:

  1. Complete your registration on our Uplifter registration system at register.skateamherstburg.ca.
  2. Print or save a copy of your registration confirmation. You will need this when applying for the subsidy.
  3. Bring your registration confirmation to the Town of Amherstburg (Libro Centre) when submitting your subsidy application, or include it with your Jumpstart application.
  4. Once your subsidy is approved, we will be notified and will adjust your account balance accordingly. You will be responsible for your portion only — the subsidized amount is paid directly to the club by the program.
⏰ Apply as early as possible Both programs operate on a first-come, first-served basis and funding is not guaranteed. We strongly recommend registering and applying for your subsidy as soon as registration opens.
